Peterson Canvas & Awning opened its doors in 1957, and we’ve been sewing, building and installing ever since.
Today we’re the oldest and most established custom awning and solar screen company in Colorado and Wyoming, with thousands of retractable awnings, solar screens and custom canvas projects behind us, from Old Town Fort Collins storefronts to mountain homes in Estes Park.
In 2022, Peterson Canvas & Awning passed to new local owners with deep roots in Northern Colorado and a background in construction and design. They work directly with customers on design, and they kept everything that made Peterson trusted for decades.
Just as important is who stayed. Our longtime sales and design staff are still here, and the crew that built Peterson’s reputation is the same crew you’ll meet today.
From your first call to the final install, you work with our own people, never subcontractors:
Our customers want more than shade. They want peace of mind: quality materials, careful craftsmanship and a local company that stands behind its work. We treat every job like it’s the only one we have.
We look forward to serving you.
